Terms & Conditions

We aim to provide the highest levels of service and exceed any recommendations laid down by the Care Quality Commission.

 

Fees are chargeable for services rendered in accordance with our current Price List. Prices may be reviewed from time to time for which you will receive 30 days’ notice.

 

Minimum daily time for delivery of care is 1 hour per day, and any additional time thereafter will be charged at the most current scheduled Price Guide.

 

In order to allow us to plan our work schedules, 48 hours’ notice is required of any changes you may wish to make to your service.

 

The Night Sleeper support rate applies when the carer is provided with a bed and can expect to get sufficient sleep to be able to work the next day. Where a Night Sleeper is required three or more times during the night, the Night Carer rate will be applied. There is a minimum delivery of 7 hours per night for care.

 

Considerable investment is made in training and developing staff who are therefore prohibited from accepting any direct offers of employment from clients. However, should any client directly employ any member of Skillcare staff who is or has been employed in the previous six months, then an introductory fee of £1500 will be charged.

 

Fees are payable within 31 days of invoice and any outstanding amounts may be subject to an additional interest charge equal to 8% above RBS Base Rate.

 

All invoices will be posted out to the client’s address and can also be emailed upon request.

 

Skillcare welcomes feedback from its clients or their representatives.

 

Notification of any cancelled calls must be made within 24 hours otherwise; you will be charged at your scheduled call rate.
