Respite care refers to the times when a primary carer cannot look after the individual in need in the case that they may need a break, or simply aren’t able to look after the person. We step in whether it’s a few hours a week to cover while the primary carer is away on holiday or even consistently for a few days in the week. Giving the primary carer a break can help reduce stress and restore energy levels, and can even benefit the individual in care by breaking the routine that may have become mundane. We can cater to your needs from your own home or at our care home.
There is no shame in needing a break as a care assistant. It is better to look at it in a positive way for the person in need. When you take time away it can help you reflect, refresh and be prepared to come back giving a better, more patient and compassionate service… who wouldn’t want that for their vulnerable patients?
We can provide overnight care with our highly trained and experienced professionals who produce personal care to help with personal daily tasks like washing, dressing and feeding.
