That’s why we provide a range of pastoral care and wellbeing resources designed to nurture our carers, helping them thrive in their vital roles.
We work closely with organisations like Able Futures to offer mental health support, ensuring our carers have access to the resources they need to maintain their own wellbeing. We also share valuable healthcare benefits, such as discounts through the Blue Light Card, as a way to recognise the hard work and commitment of our team.
Skillcare celebrate diversity and foster a strong sense of community. Every quarter, we host social events with delicious food and drinks, giving our carers a chance to unwind, connect, and celebrate the different cultures within our team. These gatherings are an opportunity to build friendships, share experiences, and enjoy the rich diversity that makes our team so special.
To further show our appreciation, we proudly recognise outstanding contributions through our ‘Carer of the Month’ award. This monthly honour includes a shopping voucher, acknowledging the exceptional efforts of our carers and motivating everyone to continue delivering the highest standard of care.
